Important Repair Authorization Info. Please Read.
Most "repair" issues can be resolved over the phone or by e-mail. Do not return the unit to Ear Technology without prior authorization. Unauthorized shipments may be refused or will be subject to additional fees.
Please have the following available when you call or write:- Serial number. (Printed on the underside of the unit.) The serial number of the Professional model starts with DSG, and the serial number of the Global model starts with TRG or TP. Caution: Do not turn the Professional model upside down before emptying the drawer of all contents, including the desiccant.
- Date of retail sale. (If purchase date is not documented by a warranty registration card, invoice, or other dispenser record, then the date of manufacture will be used.)
- Complete description of the question or problem.
The sender is responsible for shipping the unit to our repair center. We will expedite the repair, and return shipping will be at our expense to locations within North America. (Outside North America, shipping charges will apply.) If the unit is out of warranty, then we may be able to provide an estimate of repair charges before you send it to us. However, we may need to examine the unit before we're able to quote the repair charge. In such cases, we can examine the unit at no charge and provide a quote to you before proceeding with the repair.
